One of the few beautiful joys in life is finding a band thats both awesome and that my co-blogger Adam has never heard of. The kicker is if they're also from the NW. I may... maybe... have found just that band. Think Fleet Foxes meets Arcade Fire. Introducing Gold Leaves, a solo project from the male part of Arthur and Yu. I wanted to post for you the song "The Companion" but alas the internet is wholly empty of Gold Leaves vids yet- perhaps after the release of the album on Aug 16th we'll get some more. In the meantime the equally great title track "The Ornament." Thoughts? The next big Seattle Indie band?
